Join Acrobatic Arts for a weekend of all things acrobatic! Students and Teachers will learn from top industry professionals in Tumbling, Limbering, Variations, Lyra/Trapeze, Anatomy, Nutrition, Flexibility, Conditioning, Transitions, AcroDance, and Contemporary.
Levels include:
// Beginner – Students working on the following skills: cartwheels, one hand cartwheels, splits, bridges, handstands.
// Pre Intermediate – Students completely confident with the following skills: cartwheels, one hand cartwheels, splits, bridges, handstands
// Intermediate – Students who are completely confident with all of the following skills: Front and back walkovers, flying cartwheels, full splits all 3 ways, chest stands, front and back limbers, forearm stands
// Pre Advanced – Students completely confident with all of the following skills: Side aerial, flying walkovers, back handsprings, handstand walking, handstand hold in centre, over splits all three ways, valdez
// Advanced – Students who are completely confident with the following skills: side aerials, front aerials, back handsprings, back layout/tuck, handstand walking, handstand hold in centre, over splits all three ways, valdez
// Teachers are able to attend all classes and eligible for discounts
Saturday night we are hosting ‘Tempus’ with Artistic Director Derek Piquette. This show features artists who have performed with ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, ‘World of Dance’ and ‘Cirque du Soleil’.
Advanced Tickets are: $35.00 at the door $40.00.
Host hotel is the Ramada Airdrie, which is across the street from the venue. We have a block of rooms booked under “Acrobatic Arts” – based on a first come first served basis.
