AcroYoga Camp In Germany

With Natalia & Joshua

August 7-11 2019 (arrive on the 6th)
5 whole days of Acro

WHAT THE EVENT WILL OFFER IN TERMS OF ACRO, MOVEMENT and PLAY
You teach what you know and you know what you teach. We (Natalia & Joshua) have designed a varied and exciting schedule of acro, other forms of movement and of course, play. The main focus of the camp is to introduce new transitions, refine technique and make acro as easy as possible, regardless of level. During the 5 day event we will be exploring these ideas through:

– Motions in different planes,
– Washing machines,
– In-and-outs,
– Pops,
– Whips,
– Creative process, and even a little
– Hand to hand.

To help you on your acro journey we will also spend some time training:

– Acro partner conditioning,
– Flexibility, and
– Inversions.

There is another element to the camp, and our acro practice that is very important to us. This is PLAY. We will be playing and creating during our time there.

LOCATION
This event will take place in a peaceful, rural community centre in Germany, about 1.5 hours south of Berlin in Eichholz, Heideland, The venue has camping pitches, showers, fire pit, simple field kitchen, pizza oven and a lake nearby. Full details upon booking.

FOOD
Meal times are a communal event where we participants will all get the chance to cook for their fellow acro partners and of course be cooked for!

TEACHERS
Natalia & Joshua met on the 27th of January 2016 and it was love at first acro, they’ve been practicing with one another ever since. Together they have built a community in south Devon, UK; facilitating jams, classes, and hosting international AcroYoga teachers in their home for the benefit of their community and others. Their practice has since expanded and they became international teachers themselves, traveling across Europe, sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm. Their ethos is mindful and controlled movement with particular emphasis on smooth execution and impeccable technique. They also value personal insights offered by acro practice about trust, control, fear, failure and partnerships. The key aspects of their teachings are the joy and creativity of movement in acroyoga. It is not only about being able to do the trick, acro movement is all about the process, the playful exploration of our current edges and possibilities. They were the first ever participants of the Melanie Ladybase Private Teacher Training, Indonesia, in April of 2018 and completed the VanCityAcro Teacher Training, Bordeaux, in July of 2018.

The Acro Camp event is divided into two parts, the first: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning are by invitation only. The second part: from Friday afternoon until Sunday, will be open to everyone.
