This 2 week residential training includes housing, 3 meals a day, an outdoor pool, green rolling hills, and a full schedule of acro! We are super excited to be in Virginia in May/June as the weather is amazing and there are tons of fresh, local, organic produce! This will be our 10th teacher training, we did our 1st and 7th TT at this location and it’s our favorite location hands down, so we are super happy to be going back!
At this TT you will get more hands on experience than ever before, as you will be teaching at Acrostock: The first residential acro festival in the US! The first 9 days of the teacher training lead into this 3 day festival in which you will get real world teaching experience at a major acro event, followed by the last 2 days of TT in which we break down the festival experience and finish out the TT. This is a rare opportunity to both receive a 11 day residential training sandwiched around a 4 day festival. Participants in this Teacher Training will learn what it takes to get ready for a festival and will teach the introductory classes at Acrostock. Your tuition includes a ticket to the festival.
Acro Revolution is known to be the special forces of acro teacher trainings. Acro Rev teachers are humble badasses that are really good at acrobatics and leaders in their communities. What sets Acro Rev apart from other trainings is that to be admitted you have to be able to do the prerequisites that cover basic skills from different types of acro. We also methodically go over all aspects of being an Acro teacher including pedagogy, communication, business, marketing, community building, and leadership. We are the only teacher training that dives deep into whips, pops, standing, washing machines, and icarian.
