Join AcroYoga Instructor Kimberly Akuna at this summer’s acroyoga intensive weekend! Whether you are brand new to the practice or an experienced practitioner, she will take you to the next level. Build a solid foundation, get a taste of the different disciplines of acroyoga, learn acroyoga-specific drills to get stronger, more flexible and better – faster! There will be time to explore, discover new things and take photos. AND, we’ll be exploring different shapes and group poses and machines.

About the Instructor
Kimberly Akuna, ERYT-500, AYM L2, YACEP is a certified acroyoga and yoga instructor. She has more than 2,000 hours of training and taught thousands of students around the world. Based out of Saint Louis, Missouri, she travels around the USA and Europe teaching both disciplines. While at home, she is the creator and director of the Mind & Body Program for Missouri’s largest hospital system, Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Her teaching-style is down-to-earth, approachable and direct. Her classes are centered around safety and inclusiveness. She believes strongly that body-positive and empowering language enable her students to be more comfortable and have more fun.
