AcroYoga I’ntl Teacher Training Level 2 in Villa Corona

Event Details

Applications are open!

**Please note: You must be a certified AcroYoga International Level I Teacher in order to attend Level II**

Coming to Mexico in January 2020, our Level II Teacher Training will bring the level of education and training to its highest levels yet!

For the first time ever, we are splitting the Solar and Lunar content into two independent modules. Our vision is to give Teachers an opportunity to go deeper in either acrobatics or therapeutics (or both!). We will strengthen what you are already good at, and will create a supportive environment to develop new parts of who you are and how you practice.

When you successfully complete the Lunar module: you get an AcroYoga Level II Therapeutics license. You are also eligible to do a Lunar Mentorship (aka CTIT or co-Teacher in Training) with one of our Lunar Mentors, to get licensed to teach AcroYoga International Lunar Immersions.

When you successfully complete the Solar module: you get an AcroYoga Level II Acrobatics Solar-focused license. You are also eligible to do a Solar Mentorship (aka CTIT or co-Teacher in Training) with one of our Solar Mentors, to get licensed to teach AcroYoga International Solar Immersions AND Flight Schools (a brand-new program launching later this year).

Schedule details

In the Lunar module you will be trained in the new Lunar Immersion format. The main shift is moving towards principle-based system with more freedom and variety in the content. We will focus on the areas of aquatic bodywork, self-massage, solo + partner asana, meditation, Thai Massage, and therapeutic flying. Here is a sample of our schedule:

7:30-8:30 Asana or Water therapy
8:30-9:30 Breakfast
10:00-1:00 Morning session (you will be a student)
1:00-3:00 Lunch
3:00-5:30 Breakout groups (you will be teaching)
5:30-6:00 Meditation + Journaling
6:30-7:30 Dinner
8:00-9:00 Evening session (you will participate in discussions or free practice)

In the Solar module you will be trained in the Flight School and Solar Immersion content. The Flight School is a progressive 15-minute flow that has 33 washing machines and flying sequences. We will start at the beginning and teach all the refinements for basing, flying and spotting. The Solar Immersion content will be led by the facilitating team. You will sample the experience of the Solar Immersion as a student, layered with the instruction of what we are observing and doing to be successful in teaching this high-level content.
