Keep In Touch Retreat In Kalundborg

Event Details

KEEP IN TOUCH
Acroyoga and contact impro Easter retreat with Dorte Bjerre Jensen and Simon Christian Larsen.
9 April – 13 April 2020

This is the fourth edition of Keep in Touch. The retreat always sells out, so don’t wait too long to sign up if you want to join.

Acroyoga and contact impro will play the main roles in this retreat. Both are a kind of partner dance where we – through playing – explore momentum, gravity, and the contact and balance between us. But we’ll probably also have time for some campfires, massage, social activities, and slacklining.

Pre-requisite for joining: you already have some experience with either acroyoga or contact impro. If you’re in doubt, just ask.

SIGN UP:
Only 19 spots available. You sign up by paying and sending an e-mail to [email protected] The spot is yours as soon as payment has been received. MobilePay to 88370 or bank transfer: MERKUR, reg.no.: 8401, account no.: 0001297409

PRICE:
Early bird: 1795,- kr. / 2195,- kr. (student / regular)
Late bird: 2195,- kr. / 2595,- kr. (student / regular)
Late bird applies after 1 February 2020, in case there are still available spots left.

Includes all workshops, three vegetarian meals a day, and a place to sleep. Transportation is not included, but we’ll put everyone in contact so you can arrange some car-pooling.

Want more comfort and a real bed? I’ve booked a small 4-person cabin at Kalundborg Camping. It’s only five min. walking from us. To get one of these beds, just add 395 kr. to the above price and let me know. UPDATE: only 2 beds left.

WHERE:
Saltbækhytten, Saltbækvej 129, Kalundborg (a cosy place just a 15 min. walk from the ocean). We have space for everyone to sleep in the house in a common sleeping area. You bring your own mattress to place on the floor. You are also very welcome to bring a tent and stay in the garden. If you want to sleep in your tent, be aware that it gets cold at night, so bring a very warm sleeping bag and a mattress with isolation.

EXPECTATIONS:
The house is very cosy but please don’t expect anything luxurious. It’s a primitive scout hut, and the space is not very big. Fortunately, we have lots of nature surrounding us.
You will be giving a hand once in a while with the dishes. This keeps the price low.
Kindly also remember you’ll be bringing your own mattress, sleeping bag, etc.

ACROYOGA:
Simon Christian Larsen has taught acroyoga for a number of years. He loves the play, the trust and the teamwork of the practice. Learn more: www.simonsakroyoga.dk

CONTACT IMPRO:
Dorte Bjerre Jensen teaches contact impro nationally and internationally, in dance and acting schools, at festivals and in open workshops. She is deeply interested in bodily movement and expression as an art form both in practice and in theory. Read more: www.dortebjerrejensen.dk and www.touchy-subjects.com
