For this traincation we have two professional acrobats coaching us:
+ Matthew Cusick-Acrobatic Coach who is Cirque du Soleil alumni and a gymnastics coach with 30 years of experience
+ Tom of Tom & Ayla. Tom is a professional acrobat. He is a graduate of the Academy for Circus and Performance Art in Germany
Training Schedule:
Saturday July 13th
3pm-9pm with Matthew and Tom coaching 3pm-7pm
Sunday July 14th
10am-2pm with Matthew and Tom coaching
4pm-8pm Additional training
Train as much as you want to. You’re on vacation! During the Traincation training times we will have exclusive use of Cosmic’s facility including mats and 3 sets of safety lines
Cost:
$87.50 per day
$175 for the weekend
+ Attending for one day is okay!
+ Accommodations are to be booked by guests. Brian will help locate affordable, clean and safe lodging for guests if they request assistance
+ There is a cap of 25 guests on this event so sign up early to reserve your training time
I strongly suggest bases, mids and flyers have an idea of who they want to work with prior to arrival. I will not enforce dedicated partnerships. All I ask is, just have a plan. I will actively manage the guest list to create a balanced base/mid to flyer ratio
Pre-requisites: Standing foot to hand and hand to hand with spotters or in lines. It doesn’t have to be perfect! However this trip should not be the very first time you are trying these skills Standing
