Weekend Schedule:

Session 1: Elevated Fundamentals (SATURDAY MORNING)
Building strong foundational elements results in greater success when reaching for new heights. This class will prepare your bodies for the weekend by focusing on the development of proper technique. Grips, positioning and placement for a number of postures will be explored and fine-tuned. This is beneficial for every level of practitioner from those just learning star to partners working dynamic hand to hand movements.

Prerequisites:
Understanding of L-basing fundamentals (shoulder-stand, star, side-star, etc.)

Session 2: Perpetual Motion (SATURDAY AFTERNOON)

For those who have solid foundations in both poses and transitions in AcroYoga, this session will focus on truly defying gravity by ensuring that we can continuously move through space without touching the ground. We will begin by breaking down flows that continually revolve through certain sets of postures. Once understood, you will be introduced to a number of new washing machines and transitions, while adding focus on developing clean transitions and centrifugal force.

Comfort with L-basing fundamentals (shoulder-stand, star, side-star, etc.)

The ability to gracefully stand, walk and spin on another human’s hands requires a vast amount of technique, calibration and practice. We will provide you with the proper progressions and sequencing to allow you the freedom of dancing on hands.
Alignment and connection are essential for hand to hand. We will break down these concepts and educate you on how to use them to fight gravity. For those of you with higher level practices, we will give you additional challenges and add movement to your practice.
