We invite you to be a part of an EU sponsored training course and network for acroyoga teachers about social inclusion.

Training course for AcroYoga teachers:
How to use acroyoga as a tool in social inclusion?

Dates: 20-25 august 2019.
Starting at 9am on the 20th and closing at 2pm on the 25th.
Arrival day: 19 august.

AIM:
The aim of the training course is to inspire acroyoga teachers across Europe to work with social inclusion and hereafter continue the work in a network of professional AcroYoga teachers in Europe working with social inclusion.
The vision is to support young people to be more active participation in society, learn a more positive attitude towards life in general and support their personal development. The outcome of the course will be maintained in an online network, to give the best options to continue learning and inspiring each other.

AUDIENCE:
The course is for certified and non certified* acroyoga teachers living in Europe, who are teaching young people in the ages of 13-30 years old. (if 50 % or more of your students are in this age group, you are welcome). You are welcome to bring 1-5 teachers per country.

*but we have to know that you have a stable acroyoga practice and are already teaching. So please when signing up give us an idea of the level of your experience.

TRAINING COURSE CONTENT:
The weeklong course will feature both lectures, training exercises and informal learning structures, sharing of experiences, and workshops, all about how to use acroyoga as a tool to social inclusion.

Teaching AcroYoga to people in a precarious situation, like prisons, refugee camps, cultural differences: immigrants or refugees or descendants from immigrant or refugee families. – Oliver ChaMo (AcroYoga International), Spain

Teaching Acroyoga to people with disability (i.e. participants with special needs): people with mental (intellectual, cognitive, learning), physical, sensory or other disabilities – Valérie Paquet, Belgium & Cecilie Hyltén-Cavallius, Denmark, Tatjana t’Felt, Denmark

Introduction to Privilege and Oppression as it applies to Life & Acroyoga – Jill Campbell (Acroyoga Montreal) Canada

NETWORK
The course will kickstart a network of European teachers working with social inclusion. The vision of this network for teacher is to reinforced cooperation with partners from other countries to increased capacity and professionalism of this network.

This include an implementation by each participant after the training. so in the following 3 months you have to use what you have learn. This can either be as a sharing with other colleagues, lecture, workshop, class or social project.

EU FUNDING
We are applying ERASMUS for founding the course, so transport, seminar and accommodation will be free for the participants.
The seminar will not come to happen without this funding and the final answer from ERASMUS will come in May. We can not confirm before.

As a part of the registration you must create a PIC code and send it to us before deadline.
