AirSeekers is excited to bring you LIFT School of Acrobatics and Acro Revolution teachers Christine Moonbeam, John Marquiss, Bryson Blue, and Jamie Ray! They are teaming up to bring Baton Rouge and surrounding area acrobats a Weekend Acro Intensive – November 22-24. Get ready for 15 hours full of acro training and fun!
This weekend is designed as a fun and level-pushing journey into the world of Standing Acrobatics and Dynamic L basing! We will also be offering a creative component so you can use what you have learned from the weekend to create performance ready flows/ mini acts.

WEEKEND CONTENT:
Duo and Trio Work: Over the course of this 15 hour weekend, we will train in several acrobatic families including Foot to Hand & Hand to Hand (both standing and with L-basing preps and drills), Dynamic L basing (pops & Icarian) Trios, Standing Lifts & Transitions, and more!
Solo Work: We will focus on how to warm-up and condition specifically for partner acro, work solo tumbling skills, and train handstands for acro.
Creative Process Work: Learn how to level up your skill set and add your own creative touch to your acro practice. Explore transitions in and out of skills, and unleash your creativity through performance.

TRAINING ENVIRONMENT:
An emphasis on safety and spotting, healthy training philosophy for longevity, positive communication skills, creating and maintaining happy and healthy acro partnerships, and co-creating inclusivity in our community are also a major component of the weekend.

PREREQUISITES:
*30-60 second handstand at the wall, with a spot or free standing
*30- 60 second extended F2H L-basing
*Reverse Star
*Experience with jumping into low hand to hand (5-10 second hold)
*2 High
*Standing bird
*Icarian Skills: Straight throws in Plank and Seated
