Acro Workshop With Jonathan Rea

Event Details

JON REA is one of the coolest acro teachers in the United States and beyond.
We are honored to have Jonathan Rea for the first time here in Italy. He will arrive directly from the Israel acro convention!! Don’t lose the opportunity to meet him and learn unique washing machines and stunning Icarian-pops.

What JON wanted to share with us:

Hello pops and washing machine enthusiasts!
I am so excited to be bringing a full weekend of progression-based Icarian acrobatics and washing machines with unique flow. For this workshop we will be diving into the nitty-gritty details of throwing, catching, flying full-release, fancy foot work as well as conditioning/strength drills to help you take the practice to the next level. I believe in the importance of predictive self-spotting for both base and flyer, deep foundational awareness of how these tricks can go wrong, and a humble open-hearted approach to this practice. I am stoked to geek out with you all hoping to up-level your Icarian and washing machines practice!

This is an Intermediate level workshop. To join us you need to have at least 1-year acro experience. You don’t need to come with a partner.

INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Hailing from Venice, CA, Jonathan Rea has always had a passion for bodywork, art, and anything that permits the body to express itself. After a 6 year span of weightlifting, he discovered a love for yoga which has evolved into a passion for acrobatics. His combined 7 years of yoga, acroyoga, and standing acrobatics has taught him a whole new world of giving through expression. He teaches high-level workshops and private sessions structured around unique progressions to bring the intricacy of Risley and Icarian Games to the acroyoga community.

When Jon isn’t sharing his passion for acro, you can catch him playing his guitar, singing for his friends, bombing hills on his skateboard, swinging on the traveling rings, and enjoying sunsets with his Santa Monica Original Muscle Beach family.
