Workshop Descriptions:
Icarian: Pops and Spinning:
Icarian is foot juggling – WITH HUMANS! Bases, you will learn how to throw with precision and how to catch softly. Flyers will learn how to fly powerfully and gracefully while you’re completely free in the air. We will offer accessible progressions, but come prepared to be challenged.
Standing Acrobatics Fundamentals:
In this workshop, we’ll share the key aspects of standing acrobatics that will give you the ability to fly high and base solidly with efficiency and ease. In addition to building strong standing acrobatics fundamentals, we will share some creative entries, exits, and transitions that are both challenging and fun. We will focus on progressions and spotting that keep your standing acrobatics process safe.
L-Base Flow:
We’ll teach a new L-base flow made especially for you! You’ll be upside down, twisting, and balancing in difficult positions in this unique flow class that has level appropriate variations from intermediate to insane. Skills will include options for hands-free transitions, Icarian pops, H2H, and more.
Standing Acro 2, including H2H: Whether you’re brand new to Acro or working on refining your H2H practice, this class is for you! We will start from the ground up, covering the basics of H2H grip and the nitty gritty details of alignment and technique. H2H is a never ending journey, and the stronger your foundation, the farther you’ll be able to progress safely and sustainably. Options for L basing and standing entrances and exits will both be offered (as appropriate) and refined.
Prerequisites: L-base tuck sit and ninja star.
