– Both workshops will be taught in a “monogamous” format –
there will not be partner sharing or swapping. You will be working with one other person the entire time.
We recommend signing up with a good friend or partner that you have previous experience working with and enjoy.

———–CIRCUS TRAINING WORKSHOP SUMMARY:
When a circus acrobat walks on stage, they know that they will successfully NAIL every trick, every time.

This two-hour workshop will not only cover Hand to hand, Foot to hand, and dynamic transitions between them, but more importantly, you will be instructed on
HOW to practice skills,
HOW to condition,
and HOW to structure your training to achieve the most efficient and effective time in the gym.

Learn how to train ACRO for consistent trick success, not just for high fives…
Leah and Etienne will work you through over 30 minutes of dynamic acro training drills, consistency tests, and conditioning to take your practice to the next level. The goal of the instruction is to provide students with new acrobatic skills, as well as a process for training to achieve success over the next few months and years.
Pre-Requisites:
Students should be comfortable holding the foundation positions of AcroYoga: Bird, Back Bird (Back Plank), Star, Reverse Star, High Flying Whale, etc. Students should also be able to hold a handstand against the wall for a minimum of 30 seconds.

——–EXPANSION PACK SUMMARY
Intermediate/advanced:

Learn to trust your balance
Work with Leah and Etienne on timing, consistency and strength.

Individualized flyer/base warmups will begin the 2 hour session, followed by fundamental progressions applying principles of partner trust, steering, pelvic weight control and lower body stability (USE YOUR LEGS).

Then, advancing to learn new F2H mounts, release moves, tempos, and swings.

Leah and Etienne will then complete the workshop with individualized base/flyer conditioning session to lock in the body awareness.

PreRequisites:
comfort in Low F2H, Low H2H
and Standing F2H and Standing H2H are REQUIRED.
