This Immersion gives you the chance to dive deep and fully absorb not only the advanced AcroYoga & Acrobatic training techniques, but also the community feeling and the beauty of the city!

Our aim is not just achieving tricks (although we will most certainly do just that) but we are also very keen on creating a space for everyone to feel empowered, embodied and fully supported.

Linear progressions and an emphasis on the art of spotting make learning advanced acrobatics safe, accessible and fun. Confidence and coordination are developed in strength training and inversions, which pave the way for ease and grace in partner acrobatics. After refining foundations, we will train more precise acrobatic work, such as foot-to-hand, hand-to-hand and standing acrobatics.

Get ready to lift beyond your goals in a fun and safe environment.

****This course fulfills an immersion pre-requisite for the AcroYoga International teacher training application.****

A bit about the teachers: –

Jaqui – Believe in our potential

Jaqui has an asana yoga practice that spans in excess of 20 years and as a result has accumulated thousands of hours of self-practice and training and has been influenced by several teachers and styles. Despite this experience she still sees herself as a student and is constantly learning new things in her practice and through her teaching.

She has been drawn to strong and dynamic styles of asana yoga beginning with Ashtanga Vinyasa to Dharma Yoga and Tripsichore; she has also been hugely influenced with her training into myofascial movement, drawn from Tom Myer’s ‘Anatomy Trains’. This supports and legitimises, anatomically and physiologically, the Nadi, Sen and Meridian energy lines in the body and how that applies to a fully functioning body, thereby marrying up her work in the healing arts.

Since being certified as and AcroYoga teacher in 2006, she has been a complete convert to this practice and as a such has been studying partner acrobatics since her teacher training. She started out as a flyer and for the past years discovered the joys of being a base, despite her size being at times a disadvantage.

Jaqui has a dynamic and at times challenging yet playful teaching style. She loves exploring and mixing practices together to get students into their bodies as well as supporting and collaborating with each other.
