AcroYoga Weekend of Workshops

Event Details

If you’ve been intrigued and would like to learn more about the new AcroYogaDance syllabus, this weekend is for you. If you’ve had a taster of AcroYoga and would like to learn tools to progress your skills in a safe and structured way, this weekend is for you.

We will be teaching 4 AcroYoga workshops for a total of 10 hours on Saturday 8th to Sunday 9th June in London, at the Claremont Project, near Angel Station. We will be teaching beginners, improvers and intermediate level material covering levels 1 to 5 of the AcroYogaDance syllabus, with a focus on creating and performing aesthetically beautiful sequences.

Workshops (WS):

WS1 – Saturday 9-11am: beginners – level 1 + part of level 2

WS2 – Saturday 1:30-4:30pm: improvers – remainder of level 2 + all level 3

WS3 – Sunday 10-12pm: intermediate – all level 4

WS4 – Sunday 2:30-5:30pm: intermediate – all level 5

It will be a challenging weekend with plenty of content to work through. Our aim will be to give a comprehensive introduction to all the material, taught with manageable progressions, clear instructions and beautiful demonstrations; filming us will be welcomed and encouraged.
You will be given an opportunity to try your hand at everything taught in a controlled environment. We are not guaranteeing that you will master all the skills taught during the weekend. As always, following this, practice will make perfect.

You are welcome to join any 1 of the workshops, all 4 workshops at a discount, or any combination in-between. You are welcome to come on your own and we will partner you up with 2 or 3 others. Alternatively, come in a group of 2 or 3 at a discount.

AcroYogaDance is much more than a movement practice. These inclusive workshops are designed to improve communication, confidence and creativity. With a focus on finding fluidity and fun in transitions, there is scope for creating short choreographic sequences at every level.

Workshops include tuition in L-basing technique, transitions, flows, washing machines, sequences, handstand and hand-to-hand foundations and drills, flexibility, therapeutics, conditioning and spotting.
