AcroYoga Workshop with Alex & Alexander in Wrocław

Event Details

We invite everyone interested in AcroYoga and acrobatics during the last weekend of May. Classes will be held with wonderful teachers from Kiev: Alex Tkachenko and Alexander Tretiakov.

Some of you may have met them during your last visit to Poland when they visited Warsaw and Wrocław.

Oleksii Tkachenko
I first tried AcroYoga about three years ago and fell in love with it. From that time i have been training at least 4-5 times a week. And success comes to those who are dedicated. In half a year I overpowered my trainers and began pushing the limits of Ukranian AcroYoga community with fun and tallented people. Together we held sessions for begginers, opened a class in a pole dance studio. After about a year in basic L-base AcroYoga, I found a way to more difficult topics like icarian games (foot juggling) and standing acrobatics. These are really difficult and require extra commitment.
We (me and Sasha) found teachers and trained to reach new and new goals.
We took part in many festivals and workshops like Kyiv AcroFests, UporNaAcro fest, Moscow Acro convention, Standing acro with John Carvelis, AcroVision with Heidi Blais and others.

Currently we provide classes in Kyiv and try to lead our community to new achievements.

I love acro for peoples’ smiles after doing some new trick, for real, essential happiness of surprise, expressions like “wow, how did I manage to do it?!”

Alexander Tretiakov.
Long story short.
I tried acro ±4 years ago for the first time. And… I liked only the massage at the end of the class?. Only, when i tried AcroYoga for the 3rd time 2 years ago with really good flyer I fell in love with this practice. Last winter I started to lead classes at the students club, dedicated to AcroYoga & slackline. Also at that time I took classes to master my technique as a base in standing acro. Since this summer I started to learn how to do icarian games and handstands, thanks to one of my best friends and a teacher.
For me the most interesting part — are progressions. To find out or to discover something, that will enable something else, that you or your students couldn’t do before… Sometimes it’s a really good training for brains.
