Dance and acrobatics use the same challenge of body, space and movement. This common need opens the possibility of mixing and building an ≪ interdisciplinary material≫.
What paths are there to dance the acrobatics or the opposite?
How to free yourself from the effort of the technical feat to give way to freedom, sensitivity, organic, everyday, movement?
This workshop aims to explore the richness of the links between circus acrobatics and the dance movement. For this, we will go back and forth between the practice of acrodanza, improvisation and writing.
We will build, we will cut, we will transform the ≪academic≫ acrobatic figures. We will talk about acrobatic energy. We will look for the organic movement to leave the learning of the figures
isolated. We will imagine amazing body paths as well as the possible declines and modulations of these movements / figures.
The sharing of the acrodanza vocabulary will offer everyone the possibility of finding their own acrobatic path and their own way of dancing the acrobatics.
