I had the pleasure to train with him 3 hours in Freiburg and I was delighted with his communication skills while training. I did have tonnes of fun and I learned a lot from him, being a great Teacher means for me being able to go through and understand other emotions, Mau is amazing on that.
He will care for all levels, from beginners to more advanced.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
This is a three-hour hour workshop taught by international performer and teacher Mau Aguilar of Mexico. Mau has been teaching and performing handstands all over the world including Europe, China, Japan, Canada and more. He is currently enjoying teaching handstands with a focus on his own methodology; a culmination of techniques from various disciplines including dance, acrobatics, hand balance, and physical theatre.
All levels are welcomed.

– How to start the Figa position
– Dynamic jumps and entrances
+All students will be introduced to active flexibility exercises aimed at increasing the individual’s strength and range of motion.

Mau Aguilar comes from Mexico, began his training in theatrical dance and movement but quickly gravitated toward circus as an expression for his adventurous spirit and desire for a physical challenge. He has since developed his methods over 9 years of teaching experience and during 12 years of formal stage training in a diverse range of techniques, including with internationally renowned circus teachers at École Nationale de Cirque de Quebec and graduating from the Beijing School of Circus, choosing to specialise in hand balance for its perfect cohesion between precision and fluidity.
