We are pleased to announce our Upcoming Icarian Workshop with Joe Rubinstein & Ayah Dayan from Israel.
LOCATION:
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
• 2 workshops of a day, 3 hours each, where we will learn Icarian in a safe environment.
• In the workshop we will focus on the foundations of icarian that will affect your practice for BOTH the beginner and advanced icarian practitioners.
• We will focus on all kinds of pops including basic pops, twists, and building up more advanced skills (like castaway, martini, etc).
• Learning to perform advanced tricks without spotters requires a great deal of dedication, technique and consistency. We will teach how to build your own progressions to be able to break down skills in a safe consistent way.
NOTE: More advanced options will be offered for the more experienced practitioners.
LEVEL:
We ask that everyone attending this workshop is able to:
1. Transition from bird to chair with ease.
2. Hold a stable star and reverse star for 20 seconds.
3. Be comfortable in basic washing machines

ABOUT US:
Joe currently living in Tel Aviv, is originally from the United States. 5 years ago, he stumbled upon Yoga, which led to Acro Yoga and it quickly became his PASSION. Joe focuses strongly on icarian, and also practices all kinds Standing acrobatics & L-Basing. Joe has become one of the leaders of ICARIAN in Israel, teaching an advanced icarian group, and icarian privates. Joe is an expert at breaking down difficult skills into progressions to help build skills to completion.

Ayah Dayan – Born in 1988, I danced and did gymnastics as a child. As an adult graduated 3 years in Sandciel, Israeli circus school, and 1 year at CRAC de Lomme, French circus school. I currently perform as an aerial acrobat (straps specialist), hand-to-hand flyer and am qualified gymnastics instructor. Fell in love with game of thrones (aka Icarian games) through Jon a few years back, and now discovered the fabulous feet of Jo. Next partner will probably be just J.

THE WAY WE FEEL ABOUT ACRO:
Our goal in teaching acro icarian intensive is to create a safe environment for people to do skills out their of comfort zone but safely – with good progressions and spotting. Acro to us is about enjoying the journey as we enjoy the success. We are always amazed to see things that just a moment ago seemed almost impossible start to work and succeed – helping the participants trust their abilities and communication.
