We are happy to invite you to our coming workshop in Austria !
On the 12th, 13th, and 14th of June 2020 we will hold the next
Momentum & Acrobatics in CI in Salzburg !
In this workshop we cross CI techniques with other approaches to elaborate a flowing and dynamic dance with our partner, made of entrances and exits, level changes, smooth lifts, jumps and displacements through space.
A pedagogy based on the awareness of the breath and on a subtlety of our perception of weight transfers, allows us to build up acrobatics movement based on a sensitive and precise body awareness.
Using our perception of the space allows us to wider our connection with our partner : through musical improvisations we embrace the pleasure of dancing, together in a complicity with our partner based on a smooth physical connection !!
During the workshop we will discover how lifts can be understand as a smooth weight transfer between two connected centers ; that falling can be experienced as a simple change of system ; and that weight can be shared without contact, by becoming sensitive to our partner’s intentions…
So if you love to fall together, and to lift and fly each other, we will give you the possibility to discover various ways of playing with the momentum, acceleration, swing, rebounce and inertia – using these forces as an energy resource to create effortless, functional and easy ways to fall into flying !
