Partner Acrobatics Training Weekend Workshop in Binfield Heath

Event Details

Intensive partner acrobatics training weekend hosted by Matt with training from Joey Adams, Issy Denman, Matt Hernandez, and Scott & Michaela!

Does 2020 have you craving partner acrobatics training? Missing using your body and working with other humans to do cool stuff? Yea, we have been too! 2020 has us a little desperate and this training weekend will offer you the opportunity to get back into your body with partner acrobatics across a variety of disciplines, from L-basing flow/transitions to icarian and standing.

Hosted at Matt’s property near Henley in South Oxfordshire, just west of London, the weekend is all-inclusive and offers you 12 hours of acro training sessions and plenty of time to connect with friends (*see covid notes below). Due to covid regulations, space is extremely limited, meaning you’re going to receieve a lot of individual attention and coaching due to a less than 3:1 student:teacher ratio.

We are expecting the limited spaces to fill quickly so get in touch ASAP. Prices as follows and are all-inclusive of vegetarian/vegan meals and snacks, accommodation/bedding, and training sessions.

House – Bed: £350
House – Couch: £325
House – Floor bed: £300
Tent (outside; provided): £275

Prerequisites
This event is open to all levels, with the teaching team able to accommodate all levels; however, this event is not for absolute beginners or those whom have never done any partner acrobatics/AcroYoga before. Due to very limited spaces, if there is high interest, we may run 2 weekends back-to-back, split by level.

Training Space
At a minimum, we will be training in a marquee/circus tent. However, we are working to secure a nearby village hall for the weekend. Otherwise, be aware of the time of year: November. We would likely not be organising this training weekend for you if 2020 hadn’t been so sparse. We have several plans for providing heat regardless, from the humble cup of tea to roaring fires and some creative ideas in between.

Covid Notes
Group size is being limited due to covid regulations, in accordance with sporting guidance. The level of social distancing will be accommodated within what the group feels is appropriate, discussed beforehand as a group and checked in on upon arrival. We will have plans to accommodate this from the extreme (isolated groups of 3, 2m distancing, masks, etc.) to informal. Given the small group size, we will be able to accommodate individual groups that may wish to bubble throughout the weekend in all aspects (e.g. training, eating, and socialising).

Questions & Register
If you’re interested, have questions, or would like to sign up, please message Matt as the host here through this event. Your space will be confirmed once payment is received (details provided upon messaging).
